World of Hyatt

World of Hyatt (WoH) is the loyalty program offered by Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. You have various ways to earn points, such as staying at Hyatt hotels, using their services, or organizing meetings and events with them. You can also earn points by staying at MGM Resorts, using Hyatt-affiliated credit cards, participating in FIND Experiences, joining Lindblad Expeditions, converting points from Chase UR, and purchasing points directly. These points can be used to book hotel stays, enjoy on-site experiences, participate in FIND Experiences, join Lindblad Expeditions, organize meetings and events, rent Avis cars, and even transfer points to airline partners. Additionally, you have the opportunity to earn free night certificates as well.

  • You can achieve different status levels in the WoH program by actively participating in the program, as shown in the first table below. Having certain co-branded credit cards can also grant you specific status levels. However, it's important to note that receiving status through credit cards does not automatically give you credit for staying nights (for example, having automatically conveyed Discoverist status doesn't mean you also earn 10 night credits).

Status member benefits are illustrated in the second table below.

  • You can convert your Chase UR points to WoH points at a 1:1 ratio.

  • You can combine your WoH points with another person's points to redeem a specific reward. However, this can only be done between two accounts, and each person can only participate in this type of transaction once every 30 days. To complete the request, you need to submit this form.

  • You have the option to buy WoH points, with a limit of purchasing up to 55,000 points per year. The regular price for these points is 2.4 cents per point. However, there are often special offers where you can receive a bonus of 20% additional points, lowering the cost to 1.8 cents per point.

  • WoH award nights have different prices depending on whether it's peak or off-peak season. Each hotel category and room type has its own pricing for off-peak, standard, and peak periods, which can be found in the award charts. It's important to note that there are separate charts for All-Inclusive properties and Miraval Resorts. Unlike other major hotel loyalty programs, WoH does not offer any complimentary nights for extended stays.

  • Redeemable at Hyatt hotels, and participating Small Luxury Hotels of the World or MGM Rewards properties. There is a separate reward chart for each room type.
