TD Rewards

TD Rewards is the loyalty program offered by the TD Bank Group. You can earn points by using credit cards linked to TD Rewards. These points can be exchanged for various rewards such as travel, merchandise, gift cards, and even statement credits.

  • Amex provides a variety of cards that offer MR points. It's important to note that these cards usually offer WB only once throughout your lifetime. Additionally, keep in mind that you can only have up to four (4) credit cards at a time. If you're interested in earning referral bonuses, you can refer to the Multiplayer Mode guide for more information.

  • You cannot transfer TD Rewards points between different users. However, if you have points from different cards under the same user, you can transfer them to another card for easier redemption. To do this, you can call TD Rewards at 1-800-983-8472.

  • You can redeem TD Rewards points for statement credits starting at 10,000 points, with increments of 400 points equal to $1. Another option is to use the E4TD portal, powered by Expedia, where you can redeem points at a ratio of 200 points to $1 (0.5 CPP). Alternatively, you can book travel through any method and then redeem points for statement credits at a ratio of 250 points to $1 (0.4 CPP).

If you want to cash out TD Rewards points using the travel redemption methods, you can use the refundable hotel trick. The simpler way is to use the Book Any Way feature. First, make a refundable travel booking and redeem your points for a statement credit. After canceling the booking, you can withdraw this credit without any fees. All of this can be done online by accessing your TD Rewards account.

For maximizing the value of your points, you'll need to use the E4TD portal. Follow the same steps as "Book Any Way," but this time, make a refundable travel booking directly using your points on E4TD. Once the transaction is posted, switch your card to a non-TD Rewards-earning card. Then, cancel your E4TD booking, usually by phone. If you've followed the steps correctly, you'll receive a statement credit equal to the points you redeemed at the 0.5 CPP valuation. If any mistakes occur, the points will be refunded to your account. Keep in mind that this will affect your MSR for your new card accordingly.

  • You cannot convert TD Rewards points to any other loyalty program.

  • TD Rewards points will not expire as long as your account remains active and in good standing. To keep your account active, you need to earn or redeem points every consecutive year. However, if you voluntarily close your account, your points will be forfeited 90 days after the closure. In the case of involuntary account closure, your points will be immediately forfeited.
