Scene+ is the loyalty program offered by the Sobeys and Safeway grocery chains, Cineplex, along with The Bank of Nova Scotia. You can earn points by using credit cards linked to Scene+ and by spending money at participating partners. These points can be used to get rewards like travel, merchandise, statement credits, and discounts at participating partners.

Amex provides a variety of cards that offer MR points. It's important to note that these cards usually offer WB only once throughout your lifetime. Additionally, keep in mind that you can only have up to four (4) credit cards at a time. You cannot transfer Scene+ points between different users. If you live at the same address as another Scene+ member, you can call in to merge the accounts and pool your points balances. However, if you have multiple cards, the points earned from each card will accumulate into your Scene+ account.

You can use Scene+ points at various retail partners in specific increments. Here's how it works:
Participating grocers 1000 points:$10
Cineplex 100 points:$1
Scene+ Travel 100 points:$1
Participating restaurants 500 points:$5
Rec Room and Playdium 500 points:$5
You can also use Scene+ points to offset the costs of travel purchases in increments of 100 points to $1. In other words, Scene+ points are redeemed at a fixed value of 1 CPP.
If you want to cash out your Scene+ points, you can use the refundable hotel trick. The simplest method is to use the "Apply Points to Travel" feature. Make a refundable travel booking and redeem your points for a statement credit. After canceling your booking, you will have a remaining statement credit. All of this can be done conveniently online by accessing your Scene+ account.

You cannot convert Scene+ points to any other loyalty program.

If you don't use your Scene+ account for 24 consecutive months, it may be closed due to inactivity. However, if you have a Scene+ Scotiabank account or credit card, your account will remain active even if there is no activity for that period of time.
